Why do Germans think it's ok to make fat jokes?

I've had belly fat since I was 13, thank you very much--and I can't help it the bearer of bad jokes has the body of a wiry 9-year old.

Jordan, the love of your life thinks I'm pudgy. She told me yet again. Next time I will bring her um.

Hey, you arent fat, dont worry about it. And if there is something there that you want to lose, our Paris, Venice, Rome, walking with no end and not eating diet will do it!! I can not wait... 2 weeks from today!!!!!

I dunno...my old host mom was obsessed with her 12 year old daughter possibly getting fat and was really mean to her about the baby fat. She wasn't too happy to find milka wrappers in my trash can either because that would have been a schlechte Einfluss on her kids. Pretty daring for someone 18 years old at the time to go to the Supermarkt and buy her own chocolate.

I hated that too. I'm fat, big deal. Maybe they should look at some of their mothers and feel like shit because they're so ignorant. Apparently being fat means you have no soul- trust me, I learned the hard way.
