Amen to that. Although I am Republican, I still have specific beliefs even if the majority of the Republican party believe otherwise, you know?

I like what Republicans stand for but I swear, some things just really piss me off. I'd say I were somewhere in the middle but do you know how much shit I'd get if I said that?

Anyways, I've never had a problem with gays so why should I have a problem with gay marriage. My mom is against it because she said we'd be the ones to pay for it with our taxes (that makes no sense to me) but I think everyone has the right to happiness. Now, I dont know if being gay is something you choose or if its something you're born with but whatever the case may be, I think its just ridiculous the emphasis thats put on gays when there are other things to be more concerned about.

In all honesty, I think no matter who's president, this country, this world is just going down the shitter. Its really sad, but I just can't imagine things getting any better, or any easier.

I have to say categorically that it's not a choice; I mean, it's face it. If you could choose, would you take the easy route or the rocky one? Being homosexual isn't the easiest life course to be on and a lot of gay people I know would choose to be heterosexual if they could help it. It's like saying you can choose who you're attracted to... when you decide you like a guy or a girl, are you choosing to? Or do you just like them?

Still, even being bisexual, I don't know if I'd agree with gay marriage. I have weird reasoning for that, though.

i agree, the world's fucked.
unless people start caring more about what is happening around them rather than caring about themselves, there won't be any change for the better, either. not that i'm not guilty of being so absorbed in my own angst that i don't see anything else -- i am -- but at least sometimes i come up for air.

have to say i'm democratic, though i don't agree with everything either. i think i want to like nader, if only because he made up his own party -- called something like "the better life" party or something.
whatever.
i could just be like a girl in my english class today -- i could just decide not to care either way, because my opinion doesn't MATTER. ugh. idiot.

sorry, i totally got off subject. i need to write an entry instead of a really long comment in place of the entry. ::ANGSTANGSTANGST::

Did you write these? If so, you're extremely intelligent. Of course, you're obviously smart anyway, since it takes a decent human being in the right state of mind to know that homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgender people are still human and therefore have certain unalienable rights given to them by our constitution.

My favorite was the religion one. "That's why we only have one religion in America."

Would you mind if I posted this in my journal, just to show people that read it, if I credited your journal for it?

You seem like a good person. I'm adding you as a friend. Add me back, please? ♥
