I usually use molasses, mustard, and bourbon for the sauce--no tomatoes. I think I might be missing an few ingredients, but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head. Oh, right, and covered in bacon.
It's funny that they are such a summer BBQ/picnic food when having the oven on for hours at a time makes the house swelteringly hot. But it's worth it. Once in a while.
