50 years ago, life was much easier. In the sense that, people didn't have to take so many tests to prove that they were in fact intelligent, be labeled by someone else that they met some fucked up set of standards that some assholes set. Students went to school, learned fundamental things, weren't babied by schools to do well on this test... or

i'm glad that someone else sees this, and not in a "skool is teh gay lol" sort of way. 50 years ago, a high school diploma was enough. now, it's getting to where a college diploma isn't enough--you need at least a bachelor's for a lot of professions.
