Maybe not my top 3 favorite bands ever, but definitely the 3 that have had the most influence in my writing and playing, as well as ones that have led me to check out other similar bands.

thanks man. a good bit of my expansion in musical taste has come from stuff you've recommended to me (and, not to sound egotistical but i'd like to think it's the other way around as well). just so you know.

Actually, I've credited you a bunch of times for getting me started with a lot of stuff. I distinctly remember watching that Drive-Thru DVD with Allister and Finch and others on it with you, and that's the first time I heard of any of those bands.
