If I see you at any shows that are not Warped Tour or Green Day.. I'm going to punch you for lying. Seriously. I'm kidding. But I hate to see you limit yourself like this. If anything it calls for breaking your own rules.

FUCK THE SCENE. FUCK ASSHOLE BANDS, SCENESTERS, GROUPIES, ETC. Those people should NOT by any means stop you from going to shows or simply enjoying music. You are young Nicole. It's ridiculous to ban yourself from shows all together. I find it hard to believe that you can just up and walk away from something as powerful as music. You can change for the better and still have music in your life. It doesn't have to be the dominant force driving it. Attend less shows, step back from the whole "scene" aspect of things, don't get so caught up in drama. If you like the MUSIC... forget the personal shit, forget viewpoints and words of certain band members....just go to the fucking show or listen to their albums. Don't limit yourself completely dude. You'll end up regretting it later in life.

You're 17 going on real old.

I can't just do that, though. I can't go and NOT talk to people because the majority of these people are my friends and wouldn't understand. I'm so jaded when it comes to music now, there's no turning back. It's too much. Maybe I'll delve into why I really want NO part of this anymore at some point. The only show you might see me at besides Warped/GD would be My Chemical Romance or Down to Earth Approach ( ... )
