Saw a crash on the M56 today, literally 3 cars aheda of me just under the now famour Gouranga sign! I was trundling along listening to 'Open Season' when I noticed loads of smoke. It was because of the shock of seeing it. The shock tends to override everything else, even if you don't really feel shocked. It'd be why you didn't stop too.
