i think that kids who are young enough to be trick-or-treating should stick to easy stuff. once you're older you can be trendy with your costumes. it's kind of a copout, though. all they have to do for most of those band member costumes is put on some eyeliner.
what's even more amazing about the pee wee costume is that its meant for a size 6 toddler, and I definitely brought it to highschool one year and had one of my guy friends wear it..the pants were like tight daisy dukes on him, it was the best.
little kids definitely need to preserve their youth and be all the cool things little kids are supposed to be..I saw these adults dress up as Culture Club once and it was amazing, but the fact that Culture Club has a recognizable history made it easier than someone who would be dressing up as Simple Plan lol
Haha my friend Brianna and I were going to a bunch of Halloween stores making fun of the slutty outfits. They have names for them, like you can really guess what the name is, "Dark Vixen" or "Gothic Angel of Darkness." All it is are mounds and mounds of crushed velvet in every store. Ugh.
I decided to be a character of a book, Weetzie Bat from Dangerous Angels/Weetzie Bat book. Almost everyone is not going to know what I am, but it is a fun costume.
Hahahahahahha NO.I went to yahoo and in his page he was reading Dangerous Angels, so I guess they took that image. Haha. The author is Francesca Lia Block by the way. I'll quote the description from the book. "Dirk saw Weetzie in his art class. She was a skinny girl with a bleach blonde flat top. Under the pink Harlequin sunglasses, strawberry lipstick, earrrings dangling charms, and sugar frosted eye shadow she was really almost beautiful. Sometimes she wore Levi's with white suede fringe dewn down the legs and a feathered Indian headdress, sometimes old fifties' taffeta dresses covered with poetry written in glitter, or dresses made out of kids' sheets printed pink piglets or Disney characters." I bought pink 1950's sunglasses and an indian headdress. My Mom and I are going to sew a dress from kids sheets this week. It's going to look cute, hopefully. I don't have the bleach blonde flat top unfortunately, but who cares.
his friend is using it cause their band is playing halloween night ...it's going to be the best costume ever...actually, if someone wore a plastic mask and a vinyl costume like the old days i'd give them 10 dollars cause that would be the best costume ever
YESSSS..i think i have a picture of it somewhere..maybe i'll post it the next time i go home and dig through my albums...scariest thing i've ever seen lol
It's also the one night of the year where a lot of girls dress up as whores for Halloween and try to pretend that they didnt' just wear that outfit last week to class lmao thats funny reminds me of mean girls. <3 ya
