Oh, I've wanted to see more of the story from this prompt unfold and you've delivered in spades! I frickin' LOVE this fic! The pacing of it is just perfect. It's great that John doesn't discover Lestrade's secret until the fourth part -- and only after he's been rescued by the wolf and, then, only after he discovers Lestrade standing naked in the living room with a collar around his neck and assumes something else entirely. *g* I can't wait to see how John convinces Lestrade to trust him with his heart, especially in light of the shy and slightly awkward Lestrade who warned John off and the defensive, almost hostile Lestrade who was embarrassed and ashamed when John learned his secret.

Not at all pointless - I need frequent sporking.

I had Reichenbach feels and then I gave myself a massive headache trying to figure out how (if) I could fit S2 canon into my story.

But that's all sorted now and I'm nearly finished.

Glad to hear all is sorted now, hope the headache is gone too. Canon can be a bit tricky at times.

As for being patient, I've read "Missing in Acton" in the meantime. Dude, if you ever write something along those lines again (injured/hurt Lestrade with John (and Sherlock) coming to the rescue/fussing over, some sexiness at the end and some angst) please, please let me know!

This is my all time favorite use of magical realism, and my favorite wolf story. There are a lot more wolf stories than you might think. :)
