My backback fell off a hook I put it on when I was in a subway bathroom. My laptop was in it. Now I have a big crack across my screen. ;_;

It could be much worse, I know this, but it still sucks balls. Big, hairy balls.

That was pretty much my exact reaction. ;_;
Well, it gives me a chance to get a new laptop. Or replace the screen on this one... but really, it'd only cost $250 more for a brand-new computer that's nicer than this one and hasn't had the misfortune of taking a header onto concrete.

Yeah, I saw above so this is pretty pointless.... But seriously, replacing a laptop screen isn't as bad as you'd think.

...Had to do it for a guy at work who slammed his laptop closed while a pen was on it. He also started knocking chips out of his iPhone screen. Hmm. ...Yeah. I want stupidity insurance for some people.

If I can find someone to do it a bit cheaper (I'm checking with my brother, who's a computer dude who works with other computer dudes) I'll replace the screen. If I can do it for 300 or less it'd be better (but not as fun) just to replace the screen.
