I was watching a show called "Nearly Famous" where a certain Bollywood song was played... the problem is, I have no idea what its called or where it's from!

Hmm are you sure it's a Bollywood film song? I am pretty sure it's a Punjabi song, yeah it def. sounds Punjabi to me. It's going to fast for me to get all the lyrics and such; when I go home I can see if I can get my mum to help me with the lyrics and such (esp once you know some you can google, but I don't even know how to spell some of the words/they are going too fast for me)

Yeah, I can't seem to catch the words either. Well, I had a feeling it was Punjabi, too, especially since someone told me it was "Balle Balle (Punjabi Wedding Song)" from 'Bride & Prejudice', but they were wrong. The character in the episode says its Bollywood (but not in the clip), so I figured maybe the writers knew what they were talking about, lol.

This is definitely not from Saathiya, and sunflowerkudi is right, that song has Punjabi words and a Punjabi beat, so I don't think it's from a Hindi film.

Yeah, because in Hindi movies they tend to have Punjabi but it's more Hindi, where as this is pure punjabi song.

Darn... well, I tried. Bright side is, now that I know its 100% Punjabi, at least I'm one step closer to knowing what the hell it is, lol.

I really hate it when shows mislead, haha. In the full episode, he holds up the movie box for 'Saathiya', too! How mean of them.
