Around the tower, all is quiet. The faint hum of circuitry filters through the still air, and it is as peaceful as a half-dead city-state could be.

*when, all of a sudden, Juju appears, tap-dancing, with a cane and little hat*

"Hello my honey, hello my baby, hello my ragtime gaaaaaaaaaaal...."

*if he were here, which he is not, Snowcat would be on the ground laughing*

A laser blast from a nearby building sends him flying into the distance a la Team Rocket, with the sense that someone nearby is grumbling to themselves.

*sits in her office working on a report when a small insignificant light among other little lights on that wall panel begins to blink.*

ah, that reminds me....

*sends a heavily encrypted file to the Sector Six tower*

I thought you might be interested.

*picks up the file, looks at it curiously and sets to work decrypting it as he sets about tracing where it came from...*

((the file that was send is a computer game that tapefix likes to play. Knowing of Dreadmoon's love of strategy games, Tapefix wonders what he would make of this one

It is a game where at the beginning you set out a goal you wish to attain. At that point you can do a lot of tweaking so that things are more likely to go your way, but you have to think very carefully about what that goal will be, because the longer the game is played, the more the gameplay and rules get changed, and the more random elements get added that could totally foul up whatever plan you might have had for obtaining said goal; you might for instance have to take actions that remove you further away from reaching the goal, in order to get closer to it, but then again, you might not encounter such situations at all.))

*Snowcat is way way off in the distance (you could see him if you stood on top of the tower and squinted, or if you were in commune) walking towards the watchtower. He has one arm around Demolisher's shoulders and looks very happy and relieved*

*Demolisher looks extremely uncomfortable with the public personal contact, but makes no move to throw Snowcat off. He also looks relieved, if a tad embarassed.

((Awwwww. ^_^))

*'nods' to self as he watches from various vantage points around the city - things seem to be, if not normal, stable for the time being*

*shifts to look inside the techs' laboratory, but his 'eye' is caught by Cardoom wandering morosely back through the corridors to the main door - having been kicked out of the lab for irritating the techs and making a nuisance of himself*

*sighs, and gets back to work*

*Snowcat knocks on the door to the tower. He's voice comes out giddy, tainted with a hint of yodeling* //We're all done. You found Dreadboots yet?//
