101 Movies I'd Never Seen Before (an update)
As of today, I FINALLY finished this item from my 101 things in 1001 days list. I've had a lot of free time, and a lot of easy access to movies... yay!
1. The Adventures of Mark Twain - a little too weird for my tastes
2. Ratatouille - loved it! very cute movie
3. The Virgin Suicides - interesting. cautionary tale about overprotecting your kids
4. The Librarian: Quest for the Spear - fun... not sure if i'll watch the rest of them, or not
5. Animal Farm - heh... glad i watched it, but kinda heavy
6. Across the Universe - trippy movie, awesome soundtrack
7. The Reaping - GOOD movie, very interesting
8. We Are Marshall - enjoyed it, kinda surprising since i don't like sports. seeing all the familiar places made me feel homesick, too... :(
9. Click - funny movie, depressing false ending though. it made me cry!
10. Chocolat - adorable, sweet little movie... loved it
11. 10 Things I Hate About You - thought it was pretty amusing.
12. Shakespeare In Love - LOVED this one :D
13. Butterfly Effect - really interesting, good demonstration of a fascinating theory
14. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - weird, but actually very sweet in a twisted sort of way
15. Fern Gully - ugh... Disney musical wanna-be with OBVIOUS "Humans are bad, go hug a tree" propaganda message
16. Brideshead Revisited - don't. just don't. so boring, it wasn't even fun to make fun of it.
17. Arsenic and Old Lace - i'm not generally a fan of old movies, but i'm glad i gave this one a chance. cute, quirky film.
18. The Fog - very interesting, but the end was disappointing
19. The Count of Monte Cristo - sweet baby jeebus! i LOVED this movie! i'm just sad i didn't see it in theaters
20. Howl's Moving Castle - very entertaining, but Christian Bale's voice didn't quite fit
21. Grosse Pointe Blank - OMG! i can't believe i missed this one when it came out... funny as hell
22. Sin City - really cool, but weird. i enjoyed it a lot more than i thought i would
23. Snow White - a made for TV movie... CRAP-TA-CU-LAR! Do not watch!
24. Rumor Has It - it's a cute movie
25. Cry-Baby - very weird, but awesome :D
26. Cabaret - it was okay, but i definitely prefer the stage musical
27. Who the #$&% is Jackson Pollock? - kinda interesting documentary
28. The Princess Diaries - cute
29. Marley & Me - this movie was so adorable! and yes, it made me cry...
30. Bridget Jones' Diary - funny, very cute movie
31. Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day - fun movie, i love Amy Adams
32. The Washingtonians - HAHAHA... funny, "bad" horror movie. think Tales from the Crypt
33. One Night with the King - interesting, then again i've always enjoyed bible stories
34. Happy Feet - way too cute... but still fun
35. Benny and Joon - another one that i don't know why it took me so long to watch it! loved it!
36. Tomcats - hehe... funnier than i expected. i could've done without the dominatrix grandma, though. ew. :p
37. Redline - stupid movie about racing... more boobs than cars. lame, predictable plot. didn't even finish it.
38. Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist - adorable movie... loved it!
39. Say Anything - interesting, odd, strangely cute movie
40. Conversations With Other Women - strange, bittersweet movie... i enjoyed it
41. Confessions of a Superhero - kinda weird little documentary
42. A Series of Unfortunate Events - cute, funny... nice movie to kill time with
43. Cannibal! The Musical - wow. all i can say is, at least i wasn't expecting much. it was kinda funny though
44. Miss Potter - kinda cute, a little slow but it was good
45. Sense and Sensibility (BBC Miniseries) - LOVED it!
46. Shadowlands - kinda slow, but interesting
47. Fired Up - "How do you spell 'fired up'??" - "F-U!" - "No. Not really." LOL too funny. loved it!
48. Mr. Kruegger's Christmas - it's okay... late Jimmy Stewart
49. Hercules - the disney version. i knew the big D was bad about bastardizing myths and legends, but good LORD! Still, it was an okay movie on its own. not my favorite, but okay.
50. Hot Shots - wow... just, WOW.
51. The Hogfather - very cool mini-series adaptation of the Terry Pratchett novel. Death is an awesome character!
52. The Colour of Magic - another Terry Pratchett, more famous cast, but not quite as good as Hogfather in my opinion
53. Soul Music - another Terry Pratchett, animated mini-series... it was okay. older, and very dated CG, at times.
54. Pirate Radio - AWESOME movie! great soundtrack, and lots of funny lines
55. Expelled - interesting documentary by Ben Stein
56. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs - cute movie! loved it
57. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - i can't believe i hadn't seen it before now. what a head trip!
58. Tron - it was okay. not all that exciting, but i'm looking forward to the sequel!
59. The Cider House Rules - kinda slow, but okay... i'm not really a Tobey Maguire fan
60. The Good Son - okay, but anti-climactic
61. Sherlock Holmes - awesome!

63. Up in the Air - that's definitely where it left me, at the ending... still kinda like it as a whole, though

67. Newsies - it was okay... passed the time. loooong movie, though
68. Buried - i honestly didn't expect much from this movie, but i ended up impressed by it. and pissed off, but i think that's what they wanted.
69. A Walk to Remember - i have a love/hate relationship with Nicholas Sparks. i'll leave it at that.
70. Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses - shut up, you. i love the story. :p
71. The Road to El Dorado - boring.
72. Mystery Men - oh my god, this movie was painful. >.<"
73. Repo! The Genetic Opera - LOVED this one :D

99. Dorian Gray - good movie, although it helps that i love the story. Ben Barnes and Colin Firth don't hurt, either.
