I absolutely love it. You write both Rachel's and Ivy's perspectives so well!

Thanks for keeping those three true to their respective characters. I'm looking forward to read the rest. Just don't delay much please.

I think, and this is me just thinking out loud, that that was Ivy's way of saying that as much as she wants Rachel's love, she recognizes that it's not right that she constantly ends up being hurt by it. Maybe KH meant it another way, but to me it sounded like Ivy's love for Rachel was starting to be at odds with her self-respect ("I want love, but I can’t live with myself if I make you hurt me again").

Oh, and that discussion between Jenks and Rachel about Ivy moving on? *Sound of heart breaking*
It just hit a cord, because as much as I love Ravy, I love the -vy part the most, and as much as I hope it won't come to this and they'll be together forever, well... *pumps shotgun* Ivy's unrequited love's gotta go if she is to be happy. So kudos for that.
Really good work. I'll definitely be waiting for an update.

With you on the loving the -vy part of Ravy the most. As much as I'd prefer to see Ravy happily together, the possibility of Ivy moving on after years of unrequited feelings is a bow to real life and those lines I've been quoting from WWBC. Ivy is a smart, beautiful woman who's been trying to put her life and herself back together after Piscary messed with her for so long. In her eyes, being able to love Rachel was a step forward. But when nothing happens and she's constantly rebuffed, how long does she stay on that step?
Good to hear that! Hopefully the wait won't be too long.

Yeah, she definitely should move on. My heart's breaking at the thought, but I think we all know Ivy's never getting the girl.
I just finished the damn new book and I'm already looking for fanfic to soothe the emptiness it left. *drama queen sigh*
Seriously, though? It's brutal, and not in a good way. It's dull, predictable, irritating, and most of all, Ivy's criminally undersused in it. That's my fair warning to you. I hope you'll like it better than I did. Witch anatomy officially scares the crap out of me.

Imply, who me? Let's put it this way - my update ended with Ivy losing it. And your last chapter ended with Ivy how? That was a lot more than "dramatic division of chapters"! ;)
No wait, let's not give up yet! Logically, moving on would be healthier. But Rachel is more than a girl Ivy likes, she's also part of Ivy's reason to be her own person/vamp. Or maybe I'm just not ready to concede that yet. :P Maybe when KH gets to the 10th book and the contract isn't extended, things will finally get somewhere.
