hello people!
it's been a long time! not really, but i felt it was really long anyway. how are you?
so, today i got myself a french manicure. haha, i know, it was so out of the blue; i went to some place to have lunch with a friend and we passed by this shop. spent RM28 for the manicure. my other friend told me it's cheap but, well, i have no idea. sadly i got my left thumb's chipped right away T_T.
i've been back here in malaysia for about 20 days, and i've gone through my graduation ceremony (yes, i am part of the working society now) and got my first job that's starting this coming monday. what a blow, right? every thing's happening so fast. i'm really nervous about it, but i guess i just have to strive. these days i spent my days like it's my holiday, hanging out with my good friend (whose boyfriend left to australia) and eating away. i have yet to lose weight (and i'm praying that it'll come together with the job later on) T_T.
ah, my office is an animation studio, so i'll be an animator, which is good. i think i'm really lucky to get this job and not the one i trained for (because i just found out how bad that company's management is), but it's really scary. when you see my work you will know why. by the way, i opened a new LJ account, which is probably gonna work like a real blog or something, a touch of my real life outside fandom maybe. so feel free to add if you want: dodogitu :)
lately i found myself reading novels. this is a habit that i really should pick up again. a few years back i was so crazy that i almost buy at least one novel every weekend. and spent hours sitting in the children corner of Borders to read (no other place beats Wheelock Place's Borders for free reading; its atmosphere is fabulous).
and i've been catching up with old manga scanlations that i've abandoned for more that a year. after i started with JE i kind of abandoned them. even though i still read manga when i go back home to indo, i have stopped downloading scanlations for a while. but now i'm back on track, at least for the shoujo genre. and picked up on kanji again. i took another private japanese lessons with my previous sensei when i was in indo, so i should continue from where i left. i haven't even finish my first grammar text book ^^;
hmm, what else? i finished Security Police and i can't wait for the special. right now i'm trying to watch old japanese movies and dramas. i watched IWGP during the holidays and i loved it (just watched the special, too). i think i might get addicted to kudo kankuro's works.
and kubozuka yosuke! he was my first love, in the japanese male category, from way back when i was around 14. now i miss seeing him in tv dorama. the last time i saw (aside from IWGP) he was on the cover of COOL TRANS and he'd looked so different. it's a pity; he really should come back.
oh, i managed to watch utaban. oh god, nakai was so so great; he made me laugh so hard!!! i enjoyed every little bit of pain on his face when he hit the table HAHAHAHAHA and the little actresses~ so cute~~ :) i especially love the one who acted with jun (her face kind of reminds me of aoi yuu) and the one who gave her chocolate to sho. and of course taro's sister who confessed on screen (jun has the greatest ideas, really)! and i really really love step and go's choreography i think i can watch their performance over and over.
i kinda miss arashi. i have not downloaded any shukudai since episode 65 (which i used to follow religiously every week)! crazy, right? and there are so many GRA episodes i haven't watched, and all the subbed files, argh! if only i have unlimited HD space and superb internet connection and 48 hours a day!
lately i've been listening to nakashima mika (she sings great ballads) and old do as infinity tracks. i am trying to poison my friend with japanese music and she asked for DAI (well, i've started telling her all kinds of stories about V6 and arashi; she has zero interest in japanese men culture. but she wants to learn the language now i lent her my old book) wheee~ i'm so excited.
what? i'm always like this, writing without a point. i'm sorry if i bore you to death, but please keep me. this is not a good conclusion either. aah mendoukusee~!
