if the internet is a person i want to kill him

which is stupid because once he dies i'll have no internet at all, but that is how frustrating seeing the time remaining for a measly 500MB download to be 92days++ (57bytes/sec omg never thought i will ever see this number)!!! gaaaah.. moving here is proven a very bad decision for that aspect.

why does everyone seem to want to sub ryuusei no kizuna? in fact i found 4 different works and i'm not sure which one to download. so far i have 3 versions (which i have not touched), then found out that SARS is also subbing it.

no offense to the other subbers, but i prefer a known source. i thought the dorama fandom has this unwritten rule of claiming (even though it has it own downsides too)? do we really need that many versions? i think dorama lovers will naturally choose the more experienced group's work instead of some unknown individuals popping out here and there. so in the end more or less some will go to waste. i mean, it's good to be dedicated (or even ambitious), but don't you think it's better to lend that virtue to help on other unsubbed projects, or maybe join the fansub groups already available? that way we lose less and reap more, right?

i originally planned to watch all 3 versions and compare, but since SARS already released theirs i guess i'll be choosing them by default (i have no time to watch anyway).

again, especially if any of you are concerned in the above, there's no offense intended. :)

edit nov 21, 23.28 pm:
i love fansubs, i really do. i don't really buy dvd box sets ("original" they said, but you know, the local stuff that are the only ones you can find) because a lot of times their subtitles suck.
i guess these individual subbers have their own concerns and consideration against joining fansub groups or anything. kudos to their perseverance. but i have made my choice. it's good enough that anyone's subbing anything at all, and we can just pray they do it good.

other than that, work is frustrating lately. bah.
