Did you ever hear from the DOE/BU about licensure/endorsement? I'm still waiting and its making me nervous. :p
Also, what 6 districts/schools for rejections? What offer? Where are you at in the plan? Give a girl hope here, I'm still searching.

Well the six weren't flat out rejections. More of a we filled the position and you're getting an e-mail through the bps list-serve thing. I haven't heard from the doe, but they say it's something at BU and I don't really know who to call about that so I'm just waiting at the moment. My job hunt so far has consisted of me applying to 32 schools and sending letters of interest to about half of those schools. What have you been doing?

Damn, I'd have been more encouraged by "I went to the interview but we didn't match." Auto emails suck. Out of curiosity, what districts/schools were they? If I haven't applied to them yet, I'd hate to waste effort. :/

I asked Anna about the DOE nonsense and she said its too early to worry still. 8 weeks is expected, after graduation. *deep sigh*

I don't know my count currently. But about the same process. Online apps and paper apps from MERC and cover letters galore.
I really wish that Reading thing had worked out way back in April.

Elihu Greenwood, John Winthrop, Trotter, Lyndon, Adams, Dickerman, Mather, Mission Hill, Gardner Extended, Jackson/Mann, Chittick, Lee Academy, Manning Elementary, All chelsea schools, Everett schools, health, randolph, chelmsford, oakham, cutler, and robinson.
How many interviews have you gone on? I've only gone on one for Virginia where they gave me a job, but the whole process was so weird I didn't feel comfortable. I also don't want to have to pay and take more testsif possible.
What do you mean "that Reading thing"?
