He seemed calm enough, ready to move on and get out of there. I think I may have gotten through to him somewhat. I hope

Yes, Cordelia took the kids to the neighbours and is now totally paying for it.

And yes, she went out and fought that stupid thing alone. Cordelia - and her face - are now regretting that move.

What she fails to get, however, is how come you're all with the running away. And why she's talking about herself in the third person.
