The best technology can offer ~
I can hardly hardly believe I'm saying this, but it seems that after years of technological advances, the best use Humans have come up with for a computer appears to be as glorified time-wasters. And of those many 'visions of the future', the worst of them all is Facebook.
Because I recently joined Facebook.
I was tempted in by a mini-game, of which there is about a bah-zillion, called "Tiny Adventures". It's a AD&D game, and it's amusing as all Hell. There is also a game called "Mafia Wars", plus another called "Vampire Wars". I could go on and on, but in essence these are "click a button, go do something else for a bit, come back and check your progress then click another button." games.
I'm afraid I'm addicted to my shame.
