Here's some of the projects I've had to do in Drawing 1 and Two Dimensional Design the past two semesters. Granted, a lot of the projects were rushed and finished poorly, or just simply turned out like crap, but whatever.

Drawing 1 - Spring 2007

This was my very first project in my very first drawing class ever. We had to take a picture and then the professor cut away pieces of it and we had to recreate the missing pieces.

Then we did stuff with vanishing points.

Then we had to bring objects in from home and use different pen and ink techniques. We did stippling, crosshatching, and scribbling, but my scribbly one is MIA.

We did an ink wash, but he didn't return them. Then we did a brush and ink one, but I gave it to Garrett.

Charcoalllllllll. It was a still life and it turned out pretty ugly.

We did a collage, but I was really lazy, so here are the best parts.

Then we did two self portraits, which came out horrible! One of them we had to look in a mirror and the other we looked at a picture. Blehhhh. Freckles are so hard to draw!

I also made a random charcoal of a lady, but didn't finish.

Two Dimentional Design - Fall 2007

I had 2D with the same professor.

Our first project was to use squares, rectangles, circles, and triangles. Each side of each shape had to be shown, even if it was just a little, and we had to leave a gap in the center. It took hours! So I made some really terrible color choices and it turned out really ugly.

Project Two was essentially the same as Project One, but we used ovals, right triangles, rhombi, etc. We didn't have to leave a gap in the center. It also took hours and I was real lazy with the coloring.

Project Three was dumb and was like 12 pages long. Project Four was another collage, themed around "the world today." I didn't really follow the theme, but I looooooved this project! It was so fun to color.

Our fifth project was a still life, but we had to use random colors and patterns in every shape. Also, each shape had to be made up of straight lines, no curves! Also really fun.

Lastly, our final project was also a still life that couldn't be drawn with curved lines, but we had to use a tiling technique and then shade by filling each square with a solid color. I spent a really long time working on the horse, so other parts really suffered. Also, I totally ran out of time while coloring the bear. But the horse looks neat, so I'm okay with it.

I also took a Graphic Design class, but I'll post those later maybe. This semester I'm taking Typography, Three Dimensional Design (Beginning Sculpting!) and Drawing 2. I'm nervous.

The end.
