Well, I thought since I hadn't posted a meaningful entry in a long time it was time for me to.

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who gave suggestions for Taylor's middle name. Most of them were really good. Her full name is now...

Taylor Elizabeth Rodgers

Last week was my Spring Break. Saturday through Monday I was working on project for English. I had to make my own SparkNotes for my book, Brave New World. I had initially thought it would take two hours, when it took in excess of two days.

I had to finish the project so Allison could come to see me. She came on Tuesday around 2. My mom didn't want sitting around making anymore babies so we went out and got The Incredibles. The one thing that I thought was incredible about the movie was the amount of detail in the character's hair.

On Wednesday, my mother always the anti-child person, took me and Allison to Old Town. It was okay, but I'm not really a big fan of Old Town. I just hope that Allison had fun. It was funny though, because we went to this candy store that had X-Rated candy. We didn't look at them but I'm sure they had something stupid, like Testicle-Mints.

On Thursday, she had to leave. I was a little sad about this. But I always tell myself that it's got to happen sometime. I don't know what it was, but I felt like me and Allison really connected at the airport. Maybe because it was the first time the whole three days that we were alone. It's times like those that really make me remember how very lucky I am.

Friday and Saturday I did absolutely nothing. It actually felt really good. I hadn't had a nothing day in a very long time.

On Sunday, my Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt and Uncle came over. It was okay. I think that the whole hunting for Easter egg thing has really lost it's amusement. I will admit though, that I found it amusing that my brother, self-proclaimed “Egg-Hunter Extraodinair”, couldn't find most of the eggs that I had hidden.

Yesterday, I had school. I had a vocabulary test in English, which I ended up getting a 88% on. Oh well, I'll live. In Spanish we did nothing. During Journalism I had a parent-counselor-student conference. Basically I got told to do my homework. Math, paid attention for the first time in forever. Chemistry was a joke. I stayed up until 10:30 talking to the most wonderful person in the world.

Today was the most awesome day I've had in a long time. First, it was just a reading day in English so I slept. While, I was walking in the hallway after English this girl in my English class walked up to me and asked me to write a column for the next school paper. Score!!!! All I have to do is think of something to be opinionated about. In Spanish all the kids who hadn't passed a test had to take it over, meaning more sleep. In Journalism we just did stupid busy work. In P.E. we played basketball. In math I had my homework done so I actually knew what we were doing. Also, in math he was teaching us a program to put ijnto our calculators and I totally schooled him on that. So, in short I ended up teaching my math class. In Chemistry we were doing somewthing stupid but I got pulled out 10 minutes early for my interview.

The interview went very well. The lady said she was going to call me tomorrow to discuss when I can come in to work. And Explora has the like the best servers in the world. I think I'm going to really enjoy working there.

Well, that's about it. It Brian? That was almost a novel in itself. That's okay, I really don't expect that anyone will fully read this entry.

I'm a little pissed about next Sunday, though. That's when we go into Daylight Savings Time. Right when I start to get confortable waking up at 6 because it's light out, they have to go and make it so it is dark when I wake up again. HA! That's what I'll write about for my column.
