Being more or less bedridden really bites the big one. Yesterday morning at about 7 am I felt the spasm in my neck and it was all downhill from there. Your physical pain sounds a bit like mine at times. At times, I am bedridden for days...stewing in my own rage, I bet Ralph Steadman would paint a mighy wild rendition of my descent into agony. I guess pain is only funny after it happens, in all its absurdity.

Anyway, although we've never met I don't find you boring at all. And I think the education field would be amazing for you, with summers off. University Deans have hard ons for professors who write too, I am thinkin about the same field.
