Those goddamn buzzing bugs have started their weeks-long aural assault. Someone poke out my eardrums now, please.

I'm taking Rocco to the vet for his first year appt today. That's when I expect my Hot Vet to declare him THE MOST BEAUTIFUL KITTY IN ALL THE LAND. If he doesn't, there's something wrong, for surely he is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL KITTY IN ALL THE LAND.

crazy weekend. went to vt on sat and did a get that was ok but not worth the drive and effort, though i do love montpelier. we'll know for next time. that's how we learn. yesterday we did a gig on the cape where we were supposed to just do a short teaser set to promote our big show there on the 28th. we had 6 songs planned. lots of people there. I am giddy, giddy, giddy that today I am finally going to get the mid-century sideboard that Andrea is giving me. I had to wait till her kitchen got re-done so that she'd have a place to put the stuff that the sideboard was storing.
