Second, this is absolutely beautiful and breath taking--I love reading things like this for a reason, although, I should probably stay away from the world of angst for a little while longer but oh well. *shrug* I just can't resist an amazing angst piece, and that's what this is!
I can't wait to see what you else you have for us, because I'm sure it's going to be a treat. (and awezing as well, of course. :P)

You did some really nice things here for a first fic. Some really lovely use of descriptive language and action verbs. I also really like Lisbon leaving first the next morning -- that's not often done in fic, and even though it's perfectly IC to have Jane wake up/leave first, I always love it when Lisbon does.
So yes, like I said, this is a really lovely first fic. I always support finding a beta reader though! No matter what, I always find having a second set of eyes helpful :D

And yes, I feel like that side of her /that I think definitely exists/ is not shown in fic often enough.
Haha yea, I plan on it in the future. I didn't even know what a beta was when this was first written/posted on FFN. I still consider myself a relative newbie in the world of fanfiction. ;)
