It's been awhile hasn't it, Smash Academy? Though I find it odd that all the calendars says it's 2011, I'm positive that I've only been gone for three or so months. Anyhow, I'm Empoleon, it's a pleasure to be back.

However, I'm curious about something though. Tell me, how would one be positive to have improve one's self for the better and whanot?

re-intro, in which penguin ponders, empo you weirdo

I remember you, Empoleon.

[She does. You were very, very sweet to her.]

It's good to see you come back.

As do I to you, Voile. It's pretty good to be back.

[She smiles. Now she will address your original inquiry.]

All people have the heart to change and progress and grow. But you only achieve it if you truly want it. I'm not sure if that's what you were asking about, but...

Hmm... that'd could be it, I'm not saying you're wrong, though more than often people are in doubt whether they actually made progress and whanot, don't you think?

I do, yes. People are always uncertain. We should remember that no matter how we have progressed, that there's always room for improvement. We can always better ourselves. Consequentially, we may always be uncertain.

Exactly it, and you can't always depend on other people's judgement either.

So, for better words, it's hard to find the proof in the pudding.

To some degree, the eyes of others are not as judgmental of us as we are of ourselves. I think part of bettering yourself is learning when it's better to let someone else's perspective reign higher than ours. All the same, you're not wrong.

... never mind. [Seems like he was going to type something, but deletes it in frustration.]

All in all, I think it's personally hard to find where you've actually improve or not and whatnot.

And I think you're right.

All the same. Welcome back, Empoleon.

[Or welcome home, as it were.]
