He is called Lucifer. God's favourite angel, the most beautiful and most talented. He rebelled against God and was cast out of the heavens with his followers and they became the devil and his minions.
Oh my gawd... Did I just flatter you?! AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I was just describing a biblical character not you hor!!!
We are verging on theology and I am no angel and have no idea how angels think or behave.
However, I have heard that while humans have free will and choice, angels do not. Hence, angels have no choice but be good. Which would mean that the devil and angel cannot co-exist within a single identity.
But that point is moot since lucifer was an angel who rebelled against God (prior to being cast out of heaven). So the question is whether he rebelled because it was his choice or because he had no choice.
Christian theology (as most mono-theistic religion from that region of the world) stresses the absolutes: you're good or bad, holy or evil. There are no greys in between. If you use that logic, then the devil and angel cannot co-exist in one identity. But as we know, this is not true for humans who exist on and move over a wide spectrum of greys and colours.
However, angels are not humans. So how?
I am more incline to say that no, they cannot co-exist in one.
Hey Ed, I din manage to post on your latest entry. But, hmm, dont dwell too much on the past man. Move Forward... Sometimes, not worth letting the past affect too much of you. Takes too mcuh time and effort I think. I am learning my lesson.Hope you are fine. Seasons Greetings!
