But in all seriousness, I'd go do what the counsellors recommended: I'd take a course in Social Work and then do a masters later on in Counselling.

Glad to hear it hombre.
Australia is a good place to work if you are prepared to take on new challenges and work hard.. no point going there to relax, there are a zillion Aussies already in competition for the bludger market.
I did well because I thought.. hell, I have nothing else to do here but earn money, so lets do it!
Hence six months of tough but rewarding work left me fit, well off and full of funny anecdotes.
Australia is closer to other countries, so it is cheaper to travel from there to other places, then go back to Aus, earn some more coin and then head home.
One day, I'll be heading back to Sydney and maybe on to Norway after that.
