I don't know who I mentioned this to, so I'm just going to post it here. The test results came back, and there is no asbestos in the plaster of my ceiling. Yay for not breathing in asbestos dust! This is quite a relief, as I'd been dealing with a fair bit of plaster dust for over half a year. In other news, the ceiling is now being fixed.

GREAT. Um, does this mean they have already fixed the bathroom too? Cuz soon you're going to have your very own walk through shower.

YES! My bathroom now has 4 walls. I am still waiting for cold water in the kitchen though. I think I will call today or tomorrow to ask about that (plus I'd like some heat in my apartment sometime soon). The ceiling problem was an office malfuntion rather than an apartment one.

Oh great you have work asbestos issues as well as home falling apart ones. Still super happy to hear the bathroom was fixed. That was a might scary. And I really like your place.

When will you be home for Christmas. I'm getting into town around noon on the 17th and fly out boxing day around 4 p.m. I can't wait to see you.

Wow, you have worst luck then we do. But I'm glad you didn't have asbestos in your ceiling!!! Yay for lungs!!

You should put up a little blackboard in your office that says "Asbestos Free for ___ Days" and keep count. Except that would get tedious, but it would be funny/affirming for the first week or so.
