so it seems if I want to avoid hearing anything about the royal wedding today not only do I have to avoid tv I also have to avoid facebook

Why would you not want to hear about the Royal wedding!!

I'd heard so much about it already that I couldn't handle it anymore, I knew about which townspeople had been invited, what they were wearing... and random stuff like that and I just couldn't take it anymore. I love hearing about my friends plans but deep down I didn't feel that the royal wedding was any more special than my friends marriages and I decided to opt out.
