I'm sorry roomie :(

It's not normal and it's awful and it shouldn't have to happen.

But no one listens to me enough for these things to change :(

I miss you roooooooomie! I will see you in a few days!

Feel better. Watch some Gilmore Girls. Let me know if there are any books published by Penguin that you'd like. Go to the penguin website.

This whole thing is really upsetting...it's just such a horrible way to die. I feel sad and guilty for not being there, but I'm also kind of glad I don't have to see her like that.

I guess the best we can do now is hope that it ends soon. Which feels bad in and of itself, but yeah. :(

Although at this point its probably too late to move her, I would suggest using Hospice. My step mom works for them and they are AMAZING. They basically work to make the last of your days as comfortable as possible, and offer support and councilling to the family. Maybe ask your dad what he thinks about contacting them.

Hang in there sweetie, its really hard, but you'll get through it. *hugs*

yeah, that is the funny part. hospice is supposed to be taking care of her at the nursing home, saying there would be 24/7 care and all that, but THEY HAD VETERANS WEEKEND OFF. maybe now they are there, but that pisses me off that hospice takes vacations while people are sick and dying.
