I love reading the H/D Holidays sign-up posts. One, they get me incredibly excited about all the excellent fic that will be posted in December and two, it's such fun to see what people want (or don't want) in their H/D

I like skimming through the sign-ups too. And heck, I'm sure the fest mods appreciate having folks who are just audience!

I also like going back to the original request after reading a really good gift fic to see what the author had to work with.

At least you're setting your priorities right :-D There will be a time when you can write again, when your li'l un' is a bit bigger and doesn't need 24/7 care taking. And there is always need for good betas :)

Yeah, I'm looking forward to writing again. In the meantime, I'll entertain myself whenever possible with rereading the books and dipping into fic. Also thinking about where I'm going with my big WIP -- I will finish it one day!
