I hurt my back on Friday- no clue how, I sat down to put on my shoes and thought "gee, my lower back hurts a little. I had better be careful when I work out today" and by the time I dropped the kids off at school I was having a hard time getting out of the car. But, I thought a little ibprophen and some rest and I would be fine. Nope. I still ( Read more... )

Oh no! That sounds very uncomfortable! Have you ever had something like this happen before?

It's so crazy that this happened to you, Liz, because a week ago my lower left back mysteriously began hurting-as I stood up from sitting. Well, I made the mistake of trying "power through" the discomfort and did my Tracy Anderson every morning. Yes, it was a bad idea. My back hurts worse now, and working out is off the table completely. I hope your back heals up soon! At least we can share in our mystery back ailments together, right? Not as cool as watching "The Lost Boys" and swooning over Keifer, but let me know how you're doing!

Here hee, Lost Boys.
I have actually spent a lot of time watching 4 seasons of Lark Rise to Candleford, so nothing at all like Lost Boys. Yesterday I did some more major cleaning because it had been a week with no housework and I was feeling better and just couldn't take the dog hair everywhere anymore so I vacuumed the whole house and mopped the floor and today am laying down again. Sigh. It is still better than this time last week though.

I have hurt my back before but not quite like this. My hips were no longer even, so my whole upper body was leaning like the tower in Pisa when I was standing up. I still am having a hard time actually sitting, but I can stand up strait now- more than a week later!
