Nora's birthday is tomorrow as is her party. She is having her first and possibly last location party. We are going to a paint your chosen ceramics place and it should be fun. Little girl started first grade today. She knows most of her class, so she was comfortable and not really nervous. I found it strange to be suddenly without one child again for so many hours. I had a quite nice but rather tiring weekend. My sister, her husband and 2 kids came up to visit. We hadn't seen each other since February so it was really nice. My nephews are 4 and 11 months, so every time I see them, they are so different! My daughter was enamored of the baby and would just follow him around. So, N is no longer a kindergartener! Her fever broke late last night, so she was feeling fine this morning, but I still couldn't let her participate in field day. We did go to Mass and the award ceremony, so she got her student of the month award and pin. She was so proud of herself! Sigh. This is the last week of school and while the first part of the week went well (school wise) today I had to get N early because she has a fever. Which also means she misses tomorrow. Yesterday waddled of an odd day. The weather was supposed to be nice, and was for a time, but 3 full on down pours and 2.5 hours of drizzling make the weather person a liar. So, we closed on the house on Friday. It went smoothly (thankfully, after everything that happened with that in the last 6 weeks!). The movers came Sunday and we are settling in to the new house. The house I am moving out of is finally on the market. I know it will only be a week before I move out, and I won't be dealing with this for long, but showings are such a pain.
