I love "O Canada" - it's such a better song than our anthem.  It actually feels inspiring.  brb moving to Toronto ( Read more... )

I sometimes wish I'd live in the US because of all those teams I have a thing for. But, actually, I am considering coming over for a sports-related trip, just have to find out how to best get this done. HA!

I hope I'll be able to watch the Superbowl this year, and I hope it's the Pats who are in. Tom Brady is one sexy motherfucker and one heck of a guy. Totally want a shirt with BRADY on it. Yup.

That, and a Sharks one, of course. I wrote down the dates and times on a little sheet of paper when my boys are playing at a reasonable time so I can watch them. <3

The one downside is that all of these sporting events are ridiculously expensive anymore. Bruins tickets are $100 each easy. I could drive up there and go to thirty games a year - if i were RICH. It sucks to have to pick and choose one or two if you're lucky. People who have cheaper season tickets for life are lucky mothers.

Hoping for the Pats as well - especially because everyone thinks they are too hobbled to get the job done. Never underestimate Tom Brady. Many do though.

What is on your US sports tour agenda?? Fun! :D

True. It's still rather cheap over here, at least if you choose the cheap seats which can be a bit further up. In addition, since I am unemployed (but hopefully not long anymore, yay) I got an extra reduction on hockey tickets. :)

The agenda? Well, of course at least a Sharks game. Hopefully catching the Bulls as well. I'd love to attend some swim meets over there (because let's face it, the US Swim Team is hilarious). Gator football. And maybe a Cleveland Indians game. I am not into baseball at all, but a Tribe game would be killer. =D
