We saw Rifftrax live tonight from one of our local theaters! They were doing Plan 9 from Outer Space, and it was hilarious. Honestly seeing Cinematic Titanic live was probably a little cooler, but then we were actually at the venue with them instead of watching it on a movie screen. They are indeed going to be awesome, and I am not in fact biased. Well, at least not in the same way. :)

Oh, and I'm definitely in for hanging out in the evenings. I have no idea what the panels _are_ yet. I need to find me a schedule.

I am too, although I may end up giving my slots away. :) But I think we're signed up for the same GB game, Friday at 9am!

Some of the tracks have schedules up on their websites, but I just haven't been as into panels lately. Oh hey, are you recording panels again though? If they do a Shatner/Nimoy/Stewart one, I'd be interested, but not enough to wait for hours in line, so. I may have to grab panels from you if you're doing that. :)

Such is my plan. Got the laptop, got a 500GB USB hard disk, got a tv watcher stick, got a room in a con hotel (I'm in the Marriott again), got spare connectors in case I have to do some reverse-engineering to their TV (don't tell anyone). I'm seriously considering just starting from the beginning of the con and recording _everything_, as the schedule last year was basically a "best guess" and I wound up having to record a large amount before and after any given scheduled panel to get what I wanted-- and sometimes still wound up with something entirely unrelated.

I'm in GB at 0900 Friday and A-Team at 0900 Saturday.

Awesome. I'll probably bring my laptop. Does yours have a Firewire port? I think I have a cable laying around here somewhere if so. I doubt I'm going to want many panels, but just in case. I have some multiple-gig memory sticks too.

We are in the Hilton again. Hopefully you have an easier time getting here than last year!

If you are not staying at the con hotels Mon night, you could always come back to Marietta and crash with us. We have one spare bed and a couch and loveseat.

SRSLY. (Also holy shit dude, have you read this story? Sam/Fi, and while my heart belongs to Fi/Michael I do dabble a bit. And it is like the only Sam/Fi fic I've found. You may know about it already but if not you must read it.)

Sneak peek just for you- the game I'm thinking of running for a few friends at con is a Burn Notice game. ;) I get to make character sheets for the trio! Oh dear god the pressure.

And I need some BN icons with a quickness. Must go digging for some.

Hee, I've not only read that story, it's on my List Of Fics to Rec when I update my rec site. Sam/Fi is even more rare than Sam/Mike, I swear, that's why I ended up writing my own.

I'll quote a friend of a friend and say I 'ship the Sam/Mike/Fi OT3 and all its versions (Sam/Mike, Fi/Mike, Sam/Fi, Mike/Fi/Sam, Mike/Fi/Sam/Yogurt...;) )

DUDE THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN! Good luck putting 'em together.

RE icons: bn_100x100 has some good stuff, but my personal favorite maker when it comes to BN icons is princesskiwi07 or chemfishee. i also have some bases lying about on my hard drive, if you'd like something :)

Haha :D I figured you probably did know about it, but just wanted to be sure! There is very little good BN fic out there in general, man. I would love to see recs when you get them updated.

Thanks, it should be a fun experiment if nothing else. And I have some friends who are very excited to play, so that's nice. I may post the character sheets here once I finish them. :) This system kind of defines things based on what each character is best at, so I may actually need to pick your brain on where some of their fortes lie. Generally speaking I actually have a good grasp on what they're best at, it's just deciding if they're great at this, or good, or just fair... Anyway ( ... )
