forensicrulan. Both of these tuts are pretty much the same with a few slight variations. I've included a .psd file for both of the coloring techniques. They're not too hard as long as you're familiar with curves which can be a little difficult when you're starting out. I consider these tutorials to be at a basic skill level. I'd love to see what everyone comes up with. I don't mind people following the tuts to the last detail but it'd be great to see some variety. Have fun and enjoy! :D

1. Take your base and create a new curves layer.
RGB - Point 1
Input: 111
Output: 159
Red - Point 1
Input: 121
Output: 143
Green - Point 1
Input: 123

2. Create a new color fill layer and fill it with #E5E5E5. Set to color burn 100%.

3. Flatten image. Go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen.

Step 4 is optional. You can choose to end it here but I found that the sharpening was a little too harsh.
4. Go to Edit > Fade Sharpen. Opacity 30%.
