Yeah, The Boyfriend thought it was a GEICO ad at first too. I think it disturbed him a bit when he saw the broken and bleeding lizards.

Absolutely, but, alas, something like this would never be shown in the U.S. for fear of what kind of harm it would do to teeny-tiny minds who get overly attached to our lil lizard loves.
