You have great stories, and they are very inspiring. It's nice to find someone who becomes a nurse for the right reasons! :) Your patients are lucky to have you. I have worked in a clinic for 4 years or so and yes it's easy to get stressed and annoyed by patients/coworkers/or the situation in general but you have to be a certain type of person to really care and be affected by people if you are to help them in return. Does that make sense? My dad (LCDR in the Navy) would have said you were a kindred spirit! :) Seems like you are right where you are supposed to be.
