And my fish had, like, her sixth batch o' babies today. How long will these guys last? My bet is a week at the most. Damn hungry fish.

So it's been an irritating day. Started off fine, but went downhill quickly. Last night I bagged my trash so I could drop it as I went out to my car. One bag ripped right around the top making it impossible to carry. Rebag it and think I'm good to go. Pick up the second bag and there's a huge stain on the wood floor where something leaked. well, it's the last day of school before christmas vacation or winter break or whatever you want to call it. the kids (and teachers) are all hopped up on sugar from holiday parties and i've got a plate of goodies that i can't eat, but i also can't bring myself to turn down any child who offers me something. they're all cute and proud that they ( Read more... )

So I finally got the turtles! The cats are fascinated and I'm pretty pumped. Belle is getting annoyed that she can't play with them. She sees them pass by in the aquarium and wants to touch them. It's not working out so well for her, heh. I want to rename them. One's a boy and the other's a girl. Any suggestions?

They've already cancelled the after school program for tomorrow... so here's hoping that we'll get the rest of the day off too. Come on snow!

even though it's going to cost $1,200 to fix my car. apparently they've had problems with the catalytic converter so they've changed the way they do them. so i called nissan to figure out why they haven't been recalled, and figured while i was at it i may as well find out why my 2004 car has an early 2003 engine in it. she's going to call me ( Read more... )
