G. stayed home from work today, so I got to sleep until 10.30 and then have a leisurely breakfast of apple-raisin bread (with Devon cream & honey) and coffee and conversation.  My breakfasts usually involve all of these things, but often at a rush, since we never get up quite as early as we ought to
