If you've played FFXI on this laptop, I would suggest not doing so any more until it's fixed, and change your PlayOnline password on a known good computer. Hate to see you get hacked. :(

Haven't seen it firsthand, but I'd suggest running a full scan with your favorite anti-virus software, as well as SpyBot S&D and AdAware.

If you don't have the restore discs for your laptop, you should be able to order them from the manufacturer.
