So, I just went in to check on Vash, to make sure he was covered and the blankets weren't in his face. I lean over into the crib and he's staring up at me. Maybe sleeping with his eyes open. i think i'm starting to have withdrawls from ffxi. maybe if i take naps during the day i'd have energy to play at night. Cause by the time 8 o'clock rolls around my mind is awake but my body just says, "sleep!" which usually doesn't happen cause my mind is so full of energy. :s

also, typed this with only one hand. took me twice as long :P

On Tuesday (5/19) Corey got the nesting urge, not me, and decided to wash all the baby clothes and stuff. I don't remember how many loads of laundry it was, but I think it was 5+. And we spent all evening folding laundry and putting it away. Around eleven pm I starting having some contractions, which I didn't know were contractions. ( Read more... )

Quick post about mother's day.

I just wanted to thank the random lady in the parking lot of BJ's who wished me a happy Mother's day on Sunday. :) I went there to buy a present for my own mother, and her wishes just made my day. I know I'm not a mommy yet, but come on - 2 weeks! Yeah, I just look ready to pop is all. :P

So after the Price is Right today I watched the news, first thing on was an update to Gov. Patterson's "fat tax". Get this, according to the Gov. New York is getting enough federal stimulus money to not have to add any of those new taxes. And I was worried. pffft. Things always have a way of working themselves out, even in government.

I have gotten to the point where I'm in a constant state of being uncomfortable. Standing up is relieving somewhat, but it is tiring, and after working 8 hours without sitting down plus walking around a convention for 4 hours my legs just gave out on me.
