Attention flist:

~I'm seeking reading suggestions~

Please suggest to me a book/s I should read. And tell me why you love it.

I'm looking for non-sci-fi/fantasy, really interesting reading to get me through the UN documents I'm currently slogging through.

I'll love you forever!

Thanks! I've read Chuck Palahuniuk's 'Choke' and part of 'Fight Club' (before my friend stole it back!), definately a distubing mind and interesting read.

Haven't heard of The Blind Assassin, do you like it for a particular reason?

I picked it up at a used bookstore without reading the synopsis. I noticed it won the booker prize and thought it might be about blind assassins. What happened instead is a love affair with one of the greatest writers of our time. I have now read everything she has produced.

I wouldn't spoil a line of this book for you, but it is THAT awesome.
