Art: change the fates' design
So I made art for _mournthewicked's wonderful J2 Tangled AU, change the fates' design, which you should all go read. ♥ I loved how she brought the magical elements into a modern retelling, and I tried to bring some of that storytelling whimsy into the art.

When I started making art for the fic, I wasn't sure how I was going to incorporate the boys into it. _mournthewicked actually gave me the inspiration for this when she was giving me feedback on my draft art. This one was the hardest of all the art I made, so I hope it came out okay. The gorgeous texture is by Inthename-stock at DeviantArt... it reminded me a lot of the movie without being overpowering. The font I used on all of the art is Augusta. Jensen's hedgehog's name is Rigby. Rigby is a badass. \o/

This was my draft art, and I really felt strongly about continuing to develop it because of the way it depicts Jensen's physical journey to the ocean, his dream/destiny. My favorite part is probably the footsteps; you guys would not believe how difficult it is to find decent pictures of footsteps in the sand, but I liked the one I picked because I could feel the racing motion in it. MAYBE THAT IS JUST ME, IDK. I used a blue texture by justfreefallin and one of oxoniensis's paper textures on this one.

Jensen has the ocean, of course. I picked the road for Jared because he's a wanderer and because of the journey across the country he takes Jensen on.

So, okay. I read the fic draft and then immediately wanted to rewatch Tangled, WHICH I DID. And then this happened, pretty much the same day. And then all of my chat laughed forever over it, and then I gave it to _mournthewicked for the lulz. JARED AND JENSEN ACTUALLY LOOK REALLY GOOD LIKE THAT, LOL.
