Word Count: 213
Summary: Rusty is Rusty, and he'll always find some way to amuse himself.
Author's Notes: Not a true story, but it would be hilarious if it was!

He was sitting pretty far back at a red light, windows both open. The giant truck sputtered loudly, but he'd learned to ignore it by now. The light had been red way too long.

From the side, he spied a kid coming towards them. Probably a student, ambling along slow as you please, glancing at the light before starting across the street. She didn't even reach up to the hood of the truck.

He grinned. "Hey. Watch this."

The other man in the cab looked over. "What?"

"Watch." Rusty took his foot off the brake; the entire rig shuddered and rolled forward a couple inches (only a couple, though; he'd quickly put his foot back down).

The girl, who'd been directly in front of the grill, jumped a mile high and stepped backwards before realizing the truck had stopped again and darting the rest of the way across.

Rusty cackled, flicking his cigarette to drop off the ashes. "Didja see the way her eyes went wide?" he demanded, highly entertained.

The other man, however, was looking at him disapprovingly. "What if you hadn't been able to stop in time?"

"She would've run," reasoned Rusty amiably. "Has legs, yeah?"

There was a long pause, then--

"Look. Here comes another one. Rusty, get ready."

XDDD
