Everyone is so down on Tom Cruise. He's been really hammered in the media and in public opinion lately. But dudes! He's a class act.

My thoughts exactly, I'm not a fan but I thought he actually conducted himself pretty well considering.

I liked Sharon Osbournes approach better though, she threw a bucket of water on the guys.

He did seem rather calm and I guess I would have reacted the same way... lecture the guy. I guess he was trying to be nice and give an interview to an unknown media reporter... little did he know. But for all his work trying to lure people into an exploitive cult, he sure does deserve some pants down public spankings.

It shows he has a short temper. That's never good. Yeah it was rude, but there are better ways to handle it. He went off, which shows how good Scientology is as well. . .(since he's been an adherant for so many years)

He wasn't an angel but I would have been far angrier. He was at a press junction, with hundreds of people wanting by the carpet interviews. Thats gotta be a little stressful as it is. And to be suddenly squirted with water from smoeone who you thought was a serious journalist? On Camera?

Is agression something Scientology tries to eliminate? I don't know that much about it.

I'm just up on defending whomever is currently being decimated in the public spotlight. :)

If I was Tom Cruise, though, I'd be so afraid of my crazy fans that I would be TERRIFIED of what that liquid was. How does he know it's water?

He would have come off a lot cooler if he had just punched the asshole.

I guess it comes down to.... are we fans because he is a Scientologist? Or are we fans because of his acting skills, and his choice of roles ( ... )
