I get so angry at the irresponsible people who get pets, only to abandon them
At least they are trying to find homes for their pets, but still

I wish I could give them all forever homes with responsible people.
In other news, the birdcage finally got a new owner. Selling that thing was hard!! I got close at one point only to find out someone wanted to put a parrot in a cage sized for a budgie. There was some hellz no. The cage went to someone looking to house a budgie. I still feel terrible for the parrot, wherever he or she may be...
In the meantime, I'll just dress my children up as animals. James keeps pretending to be a puppy in the morning. It's pretty authentic, and I'm training him not to lick my work pants.
