I've recently started reading various works by Vonnegut. It's not what I expected, but I am shocked how strongly I relate to most of what he writes. How is it that his invented religion resonates more strongly in me than any "real" religion? I'm sure there is a long discussion to be had there

I think Slaughterhouse V is my favourite of all his works.
