there’s a strange sensation bubbling up at the back of hyunchul’s throat and it makes him squirm. his vocal cords are itching to let out a squeal, his toes curl in anticipation and he wrings his hands because he has no idea where to place them. the urge to let his body take over is overwhelming in its excitement but he doesn’t want to risk making a fool of himself, so he coughs a few times to get rid of the itch and takes deep breaths to calm himself down, digging the album out of his bag so he can clutch it to his chest like it is something to be protected.
then he knocks on the door.
