Oh God, I'm so sorry. I cried reading that. I've lost a lot of pets over the years, two of which were beloved cats, many of which were rodents (I bawled when the vet told me my pet rat had a tumor and was euthenied before I got to say goodbye), and two of which were birds. I've never had a dog die, but I can imagine how it feels.
I'd feel about the same if my kitty were to die unexpectedly, so...I guess the point of this is that it's not stupid or cliche, your being upset over your dog.
... *sniff* just a little puppy... My dog died three years ago, but he was an old dog of 13 and we knew months prior that he was going... I can't imagine what it's like for you... I know how hard I was beat up over his death, and I knew it was coming! For you, it just came... no warning, and so far, no reason... Best of wishes, Keesh
